This blog is the soapbox (think Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park) of Michael Wagener.

I am an Information Systems Project Manager, as well as the CEO of a small, specialist development company in South Africa where our focus is on things web, one of our primary tools being Drupal. We are involved with a number of different technologies and projects, some of which I will probably share here from time-to-time.

There are a few topics that excite me - technology for one, empowerment for another. In this world of ours I think that it is a really important and basic principal of successful relationships to ensure that we are providing opportunities for others all of the time, and that our relationships build up rather than damage and tear down.

Oh, and I like to think about solutions to making my world more green and sustainable,and then try and put them together, as well as play with my car (a VW Golf) - under the hood, and I enjoy taking photographs, sometimes good, sometimes not so good - they get thrown away - some of the good ones find their way to Flickr and I will post some here in time to come.

Every now and again I get a spurt of energy and start thinking about exercise - that usually lasts about a month or so and then dies - I am not a gym person - I like outside, but unfortunately, winter is not a great time to take on the great outdoors - it is just too damn cold!!

So I wander on - look forward to your company along the road - I hope to inspire you as I know you will inspire me!!
