A Blog Post Usually Starts Here...

So, one has something to say - this is a cool platform to say it from - and then do all sorts of things to make it get to headline news around the world. And so this is my soapbox to the world - I look forward to sharing with you about various things as the days go by.

There are a few topics that excite me - technology for one, empowerment for another, thinking about solutions to all kinds of problems - especially how to reduce my monthly electricity bill and dependence on the public utility without busting the bank. Those are the kind of things that I will talk about generally, but I am sure that I will share about other things too -like the oil spill in the Gulf which seems to be slipping out of the mainstream news - and shouldn't be, and maybe one or two other things like that.

So, I suspect that that is a good place to start ... and to stop - more tomorrow!!
